Went back to installer. They claim my micro SD 64gb from Bangkok (Kingston and they format with firmware) is the root cause. Plucked in the original bv card and appears fine. Will monitor and share.

AD says bv650 does not have overheating issue as the fix is done.

Yes bro shunt hav prb.

I removed recording sound, n formatted using the WiFi button (hold n press down)

Ur 64GB class 10?

Yes bro. My 64gb is class 10. Was working well few days after I came back from Bangkok. I think I had been unlucky on last few incidences.

Hopefully this bv can last for 2 years before next car.

Hi, Hope someone can help and provide advise

My ride comes with Blackvue DR650GW-2CH.

Recording only when power is ON.

How do I configure it to be recording when in Park mode as well?

Any special gadget that I need to buy, and roughly the cost.

Any recommended installer for this?

TIA / Kelvin

Install power magic pro retail @$60 without install. I think any audio shop can help.

currently using BV 380G-HD, the time and power off function is NG...

check that must replace the battery inside... but check that there are no screws to "unlock" it...

call bv service ctr, unless it's bought from them, they do not service... battery replacement cost abt ~50..

any1 try changing parts for this model??

it serve me well for as least 2yrs... trying to "repair" it if possible

TIA

Just had my BV installed. If not mistaken, open the BV app, click on config icon and theres a "button" you click to activate park mode. Save this config on your SD card and the setting should transfer to your unit when you re-install the SD card.

BTW my BV is quite warm to the touch while its recording (5am after parking overnight. 25 minute journey to work). Anyone else the same?

I use the Blackvue 650 front and rear video camera, I notice when the video records from the front and switches to the rear recording a few seconds of recording will go missing. I.e if you watch the front camera and the next front camera footage a few seconds will disappear in between. Anyone face this issue?

Just had mine installed. Thanks for the heads. Let me check and get back to you.

Hi guys,

does the DR650GW comes with GPS module? I cant seem to see the speed (km/hr) on my video.

if not mistaken, there is a "button" in the configs page that allows you turn GPS On or Off. Cheers!

I see Borneo Motors have the Blackvue DR650 2CH at an installed price of S$640.

Is this fair or are there better places for installation.

I suppose BM might send it to an external installer to do the work.

Hi,

I am selling a used DR550GW-2CH with Power Magic Pro for $290. Previously mounted on my bike, hence the clear silicone to prevent water from seeping in through the holes. Cameras work as they are supposed to of coz. Very good camera, but i've sold my bike. Car already fixed with the iTronics, hence selling this off.

Good for no-frills buyer who is looking for a 2-channel, wifi and GPS camera on the cheap. Purchased from Qoo10.

92722437 SMS/Whatsapp, thanks.

I'm having the same problem. And I think there's is a new firmware.

Anyone knows if i can update the firmware via the app? Each time i click update, it says network error.

Yo bro, not sure if somebody respond to you yet?

Got my resolve using updates from here including my wifi issues.

Cheers... [;)]

How does the cellink b works ?

Does it still need to connect to car bat ? Or can stand alone ?

Wires hidden ?

I initially use PowerMagic but gave up two weeks later as it will cut the power 5hr later.

I was recommend to use Cellink B as it can last 17hr of recording on my DR650GW.

So far so good.

As for T-Power, the charging time and usage time may not be that good.

Anyone experience total full screen pinkish green at the rear camera after DR650GW reboot a few times?

I RMA 2 set as first set lost focusing and the second set keep having rear camera full pinkish green.

My third set also the same. Something gotta do with the cable.

Bought a set of DR750LW from Qoo10 for S$329, and have it installed myself. Paired it with 128GB Samsung Microsd. So far so good, except that the unit will stuck in bootloop when i change any settings and restarted the unit, and it'll work fine if i do a manual restart (unplug power from front unit, drain the power, wait for 2-3 minutes, then replug power). Hopefully this is something that can be fixed with a firmware update in the future..

It is the MicroSD problem. I had a Transcend Class 10 MicroSD before and had the same problem.
