Anyway, anyone knows how to disable the GPS function?

Can download the Blackvue program on PC, connect the micro-SD card via USB through a micro-SD to USB card adaptor and adjust settings from there (e.g. enable/disable sound recording and GPS, adjust time).

Any idea where can we buy the sticky pad for Blackvue in Singapore?

Just get the 3M heavy duty(clear) sticky tape. $6+ for a roll. Just cut want u need and can use the rest for something else.

Will there be residual if I remove it next time? Also can this be used on the car dashboard? I am thinking of sticking my GPS holder on the dashboard instead of the windscreen

This tape will not have residual. This is not a foam tape.

U would have to remove the layer of wax on ur dashboard first before using this tape to stick ur gps holder.

Me not into car detailing. So cant give proper advise on that. But for me, I use turpentine, apply on cloth and rub on the area I wana stick. Do it a few times and that area will feel "rough".

Not sure if can restore after doing that. Cos I sold off the car liao. Up to the dealer to settle it. But sure to have a mark/discolouration when tape is removed eventually.

Follow at ur own risk.

1) DR550W dual cam - wat is the max capacity SD card provided? 1 per front and back cam?

2) Wat is the max capacity/class type supported?

Thanks in advance!

Mine came with the 32gb card. It is one card that goes into the front HD camera, and the rear camera is wired to the front and records to the same card as well, i.e. only one card records both front and rear feeds. This should be more than sufficient even in the highest recording setting, unless you are installing the extra battery unit for longer recording period when your car is stationary.

I have the power magic installed, and usually once the car battery drops below a certain current when the car is parked overnight, it will just cut off and stop recording. Can usually last overnight at least for continued recording.

guys, I was using DR500 for about 4months on my old ride installed by an authorised Blackvue dealer with the magic pro. Everything was fine including parking mode. Changed to my new ride yesterday and the PI helped me swop my Blackvue and the magic pro to my new ride but now the parking mode is not working. Any idea how to fix it?

How much is the labour cost to fix it? Anyone has recommendation as my Blackvue authorised dealer is not open tomorrow. Am staying in the West.

Thks.

Intend to buy a blackvue and power magic pro from Qoo. Anyone has lobang as to which workshop helps to install them and get it to work properly.

I have heard many stories that not many workshop (preferably in west) knows how to connect the DVR to the magic pro properly to let the parking mode work properly.

Your recommendations is greatly appreciated.

I called one of the Blackvue dealers but they are only willing to install if we buy from them.
