Juzzme 3rd Gear July 15, 2012 Share July 15, 2012 Comparing between 1. Saab 93 SportCombi 2. Subaru Legacy GT Wagon (BP9) 3. Volvo V50 (2.4 or T5) All used cars, price comparable and OMV also in the low to mid 30s. Will use for about 4 years to scrap, so depreciation also about the same. Dont intend to mod or chip up beyond stage 1. Which of above better choice in terms of drive, servicing, reliability, workshop n parts? Like to hear from those who have experience. with the above. ↡ Advertisement

Deckbuild 6th Gear July 20, 2012 Share July 20, 2012 Legacy for me, it's huge and the price is much lower than the other 2, lower depreciation, peace of mind for reliability.

Righteditor Neutral Newbie July 20, 2012 Share July 20, 2012 Hi. Noob car buyer here. Planning to buy a used 2007 Latio. Would appreciate any advise on: 1. If it is a good car to buy in terms of fuel consumption and maintenance? 2. In view of the depreciation, is it ok? 3. Is the premium model worth the purchase for this type of car? 4. Any recommendation on a reputable dealer. This is my first car purchase, so I appreciate all the advice. Sorry if this post appears in the wrong place. Thanks. Timbuktu Clutched July 20, 2012 Share July 20, 2012 The Swede marques are renowned for their wagons. Would you consider a crossover like the Sub Outback ... there're lots in Oz, or The XC60? Wagon + SUV in one. Higher roofline than a wagon, best of both worlds with ubiquitous 4WD as standard.
