The new A Class 1.6 will be out in 1Q13.

The A Class 2L Sport at 211 bhp, with lowered suspensions is a GTI beater.

Or the A Class AMG at 300+ bhp is hard to beat.

 

I'd pass the Bimmer 1-er.

Note that the car in the video is decked out with all features that are options, meaning you need to put in more than $10k to have them. For info, the Intelligent Light System in the C-class cost $5300, so you can see how much more money to put in for those fancy stuffs.

I am guessing most of the features in the a-class video, like lane assist, distronic, command set, etc will be expensive options.

 

For base level 116i, the car is really bare. You will be paying just for the BMW badge. Cannot believe that a 150k car comes with fabric seats.

 

If you really want to get a 1er, should consider this if budget allows:

 

 

Then again, if you are like the majority of the drivers in singapore who will be stuck in crawling traffic 5 days a week, there are many other alternatives that will serve you better for less money. That is, if you look away from the badge issue.
