Rogersk8ter 1st Gear July 14, 2012 Author Share July 14, 2012 Actually I'm also thinking of selling off my missus Vellfire as she just quit to be a full time stay at home mum. Thinking of getting a 1.5-1.6 liter car for her instead. To run around and fetch the kids for enrichment classes.... From Vellfire to 1.6 sedan a lot of saving. ↡ Advertisement
5936 1st Gear July 14, 2012 Share July 14, 2012 Isn't this figure the average of LMPV? My brother-in-law's Grandis can only do 6-7km/L.
Akula Turbocharged July 14, 2012 Share July 14, 2012 Apologies if I hijack TS thread.... Savings while have not really substantial. Cos I got the Vellfire at a very attractive price in late 08. Car is under utilized, tho very very handy during days/weekends whereby need to load up ALL for an outing or to dinner etc.... As a Toyota, it's super reliable........ Really no complaints... Got from Richburg, so aftersales wise is good. Thus still thinking hard....
Akula Turbocharged July 14, 2012 Share July 14, 2012 Forget to add, the Vellfire FC is abt 8.5km/litre +/-..... Very decent for a near 1.9 tonne squarish mini bus!
Gizmo Clutched July 14, 2012 Share July 14, 2012 Bro, why u change from MPV to MPV? The itch to change? So u think it's worth it? I need the extra seating capacity once in awhile, since i usually drive alone, i dont see the need to drive 2.4l mpv.

Alheych 6th Gear July 17, 2012 Share July 17, 2012 tks bro. I was think along that line... Either Camry or Cefiro. guess can only be 2L w/o top up. Anyway Camry or Cerfiro better? between Camry and Cefiro, i have no doubt it'll be Camry, because the Cefiro is a very heavy car. if you'll willing to compromise on size, a 2.0L Sylphy is actually a good option, you can get a 2006 car for just 40k: http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.ph...480&DL=1131 http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.ph...711&DL=1163 FC is good because of the CVT gearbox, and it's almost as well equipped as a Cefiro. Hamburger Hypersonic July 17, 2012 Share July 17, 2012 Isn't this figure the average of LMPV? My brother-in-law's Grandis can only do 6-7km/L. agree, grandis dont surpass the 8km/L mark. Unless you drive really light footed with no air con....... ↡ Advertisement
