Caravan 5th Gear July 13, 2012 Share July 13, 2012 (edited) Fold down the rear seats you will get a 5 seater-like station wagon. What difference does it make by changing to 2l saloon? Not as if you are going to save on fuel or even road tax. Edited July 13, 2012 by Caravan

Mozzo 1st Gear July 13, 2012 Share July 13, 2012 grandis uses quite alot of petrol, my familys car averages 8~9km/l with a 3 person load
Alheych 6th Gear July 13, 2012 Share July 13, 2012 March 05 Grandis would probably get you about 36, 37k. With that money you can buy either a slightly newer Cefiro or a Camry from the same period. Anything better you would need to top up. I would not consider it a "downgrade", just a lateral move. You do save a bit on fuel if you get a Camry. Skyiet27 Clutched July 13, 2012 Share July 13, 2012 Now it's a good time to sell high But also a bad time to buy high I would hold onto the mpv Cos if u calculate the dep In the end might be the same Or maybe the 2l higher due to mkt price Unless u hv other issues I would choose to keep the mpv And hoping that coe will drop Which.......,............ Hahaha

Friendstar Supercharged July 14, 2012 Share July 14, 2012 Essentially the grandis is left with 2 years 7months. Not much at all.
Rogersk8ter 1st Gear July 14, 2012 Author Share July 14, 2012 Thanks all for the feedbacks. Shd be able to save on petrol since now i drive more. Save on insurance and road tax too. Have not calculate how much saving for 2 years and 7 month tho. Feel insecure w MPV cos i carry laptops and ipad and no proper booth to hide them. But feel sad to part w it cos a reliable car that served me well except the usual wear n tear which ive done quite a fair bit for it. Just to see if can have a win-win for ppl who need a bigger car eg w new born n maid. Going to miss packing the MPV full w my relatives and cruise to MY. Akula Turbocharged July 14, 2012 Share July 14, 2012 Actually I'm also thinking of selling off my missus Vellfire as she just quit to be a full time stay at home mum. Thinking of getting a 1.5-1.6 liter car for her instead. To run around and fetch the kids for enrichment classes....

Sei_fei_loh 1st Gear July 14, 2012 Share July 14, 2012 Hi, I wld suggest u to keep d car and carry on driving. I am in a similar situation on whether to change to cefiro/camry. For those ard me driving d cars i mentioned are getting 7-9km/l. If u are running d same fc, no pt changing as u wontt save much and u might feel d cars might be underpowered. Rd tax jus a couple of hundreds differnce. Insurance wise, dun tink differ tok much either . Ur ssavings will b quite insignificant. Other tings to note is u might need to repair ur "new" cars, those wear and tear items. That can set u bck easily a few hundred at least. I knw d itch of changing car is unbearable as i am trying to keep my itchy hands frm signing the papers..

Was thinking the MPV will be put to good use for ppl with bigger families. I'm also thinking if change to something that always breakdown down then really not worth it bah.
