those are fine coz at least dont get stopped out due to volatility. just b careful of tracking issues, they arent 100% correlated...

 

d mkt is designed 2 make u lose $, even cfd providers r inclined to stop u out just to make trading activity... or at least the algos n programs r designed to hunt buy n sell stops to make d mkt for them.

truth is most pple buy gold as long term inflation hedges. Its the paper speculators who have to sell n cut margin loss.
