Terratoss 1st Gear July 24, 2012 Share July 24, 2012 my car 9th year. mech said the shocks something like leaking or worn. he shone a torch but i stilll couldnt figure problm. ---- if car still stable and still got bounce when go over bend, no need to change right? 9th year quite waste to change shock. IMO, if you are planning to keep the car longer than 10 yrs then it would be good to change them. If not, I think just let it be.. ↡ Advertisement

Pplater 1st Gear August 1, 2012 Share August 1, 2012 When suspensions are due for change, do people change just the shock absorbers or shock absorbers and springs? What is commonly meant by "change suspension'?
QQDreamer 4th Gear August 1, 2012 Share August 1, 2012 When suspensions are due for change, do people change just the shock absorbers or shock absorbers and springs? Hulk 1st Gear August 7, 2012 Share August 7, 2012 I had just checked my record, my Altis 2 x front shock absorbers costs me @ S$ 300/- include labour so estimated include the rear about S$ 600/-. You want the lead ? I can recommend to you. (Original Toyota Thailand parts drawn from Borneo Motors stockists) Look like nowadays price to change shock absorber increased quite a lot. Just 2 years ago I changed my 05 Altis all 4 shock absorbers (Original Toyota) for only $460 nett.
