At $15 profit per charge (50 cts less 25 cts tariff), just need 10 users a day (20% utilisation rate) to breakeven in 1 year. The cost of DC charger. US$40K stated in this video at 7:50. It is not just the cost but also the size. The inverter is about the size of a fridge. You don't want a fridge in your driveway. But bottomline is, for landed property owners, their cars sit idle in their driveway 12 hours a day. AC slow chargers are more than adequate. Everyday come back 60-70% left. Charge 3 hours until 80%, plug out before sleep. next day good to go liao. DC charger is for charging infrastructure companies to supply to electric car owners who don’t have their own dedicated box chargers.

EV needs to convert it into DC before storage. I wonder there is any home DC charger. Yes, for sure it is for home usage. I don't think anyone is that crazy to install a DC charger at their private property yet. Even the bundled chargers which are included in your EV purchase from Porsche, BMW, MB, Audi etc are all AC. youcaicai Neutral Newbie December 8, 2021 Share December 8, 2021 meta universe Each iteration and innovation of technology will mean a new opportunity, a new challenge and a new beginning. In recent days, there have been a number of moves in the metasverse, including Facebook's announcement that it was rebranding itself as "Meta," a reference to the Metaverse. Such a large Internet enterprise decided to change its name, from the side to show that the meta-universe has really close to the real society and virtual world isomorphic era is roaring to. At present, the main bottleneck of Internet development is the form of roll-in platform, which lacks breakthroughs in content carrier, communication mode, interaction mode, sense of participation and interactivity for a long time, resulting in "growth without development". Currently, AC to DC converter is in the car itself. Any conversion will create heat. On the other hand, a low power DC charger like 20kw will not have a huge inverter. It will shift the heat (resulting from conversion) away from the car.

On the other hand, a low power DC charger like 20kw will not have a huge inverter. It will shift the heat (resulting from conversion) away from the car. You're right about the OBC (Onboard Charger) which is essentially a built-in rectifier (AC to DC) in the car. Usually, the OBC is actively liquid cooled by the same cooling circuit for the electric drivetrain and the entire conversion is typically limited to 11kW if charging by AC. So, all in all, conversion heat in the car due to this process should not be too much of an issue. Maybe next time wireless charging liao lah, no more of such charging shenanigans 😁 1

With future technology.. who knows.. maybe by then can set programme to the charging station. So when user plug in the charger to the electronic car. The calculation is automatic included for the tariff.

Shell no need AFAIK, it's pay per use. Same goes for other Greenlot charging stations as they are both under Greenlot. BlueSG needs annual membership for sure.
