EV owners... got a question for you.

Do you see similarities between your EV and your phone or any technology for that matter?

3-4yrs down the road, your EV would have degraded in terms of tech, your infotainment system would load a bit slower or feel laggy. Isn't that normal?

I don't see why some ppl expect their EV to run the same or have the same experience as day one. Some are even expecting that their EV to be retrofitted with the latest tech, these ppl must be daydreaming.

Other than battery life, ICE car will face similar problem.

Battery life will affect ppl with 20k km annual mileage

I thought there is/was this iphone saga where IOS will automatically throttle your phone's performance as the battery degradation occur so as to "cosmetically" maintain the battery life?

I will expect EV makers to use something similar in their software to throttle the electrical motor output just to maintain the vehicle mileage between charging.

I will be happy to be proven wrong.

Depends on individual, like you, you're still happily using S9.

But some ppl whine about how slow or laggy their UI is in some EVs.

Got update.

Plus all the apps like banking services got update also.

It's not exactly slow.

For normal use. Watapps. Pay money. Still ok

Suft mcf etc etc.

The only issue is the battery. Its weak.

Ya. Now u mention. That.

Where u do it?

Outside phone shop? Or u go Samsung shop?

This phone is great for putting in front pocket.

It's small. The edges are round and smooth esp with the casing.

I got newer phone foc from my plan. I also didn't switch over.

Based on your mileage, your battery will not degrade more than 10% after 10 years.

The longevity of EV excluding the 12volt battery is rated to last 90 to 95 years from the date of mfg. unless u can live that much longer than the EV batt

On A worst case if u sway , 35years the EV battery dies on u which is 3.5 coe later
