Money makes the world go round. 

At least within north America, Tesla should reign supreme. 

Trump may exert inflationary pressures on the US economy with trade wars and also crackdown on illegal immigration.

Wonder what would the fed do then. Maybe rates coming down in 2025 aren't a given anymore. 

That has given me some food for thought about betting on reit recovery. 

At least I can hear ice scooters. Imagine a silent scooter lane splitting beside you. Lol

Battery as a service definitely works for scooters with the ease of use. But with motorbike Coe, can't see it reaching scales of economy. 

On a personal note, I think rushing johoreans riding silent scooters to and from work on sg roads are going to be a nightmare lol.

Trump wants to cut taxes and increase spending. 

He wants to restrict immigration.

He wants more import tariff and not just on Chinese exports but on EU's and perhaps everyone else with a trade deficit with US.

All of the above are inflationary.

But he will threaten and bent Fed to keep short term interest rate reasonably low.

Some of his policies are not consistent with normal economic theories.

Does this mean we, globally, are paying for MAGA.  I think so.

But SG REITs are funding using short term money unlike in US, where borrowers borrowing long term are forced to pay term premium.  I intend to sell some when the time comes.

That’s 1 thing I hate about motorcyclist (Johor or Sg) here.

Maybe I will lease one. 😁

But think about it, might as well get a PAB. No need COE, road tax, parking, insurance, can ride on road…not happy ride on pavement.

I think this time round the policies will be more clear. The 2 power hegemony and trade war certainly will be accelerated with him on the helm. He should have house (for sure) and senate on his side.

So I expect less friction. He's more experienced. He's certainly pulled the whole republican party with him. The moderate rights are all gone or bending the knee to him. 

Hard to implement so many tariffs other than on China lol.

Don't expect too much work from DT after he wins. He is only going after that 2nd term, to complete his full term as the president to enjoy whatever is tag with it. Like all passed POTUS, first term all on the ball, 2nd term starting to switch off.

True. But Trump also has a much bigger ego than any other president before him. Haha he can't stand being called a lame duck president.

Agree. His ego will drive him.

I think he will do more, not less, if elected.

He is a businessman, he knows his words are his bonds.  During first term, he delivered most of what he promised. He is not your typical politician.

I thought this type of copper cables theft only happen 3rd world country.

Interesting. Considering that vw already had id3 and now id4. Not to mention the few etrons. 

VW is shareholder of Xpeng. I think there is some collaboration btw both companies on EV development.

Porsche/Audi uses 800v archi developed with RIMAC
