this year will add Aion ,Xpeng and Zeekr.. this means the EV market share for some of the existing ones like Ora will be affected. Renault also has some good offering , just not sure when it will arrive ...

at the moment... but as usual, once the servicing quality or attitude of the workshop practice is not improved, its going to be a steep slipery slope...

Usually the pioneer batches of brands will send, subsequent ones not too sure.. Sinkies still seems very hesitant to switch to EVs..

Last year, there were about 31k cars registered, of which 5.5k EVs.

BYD sold 1.4k followed by Tesla sells 940.

https://www.lta.gov.sg/content/dam/ltagov/who_we_are/statistics_and_publications/statistics/pdf/M03-Car_Regn_by_make.pdf

Up to Feb 2024, there are 4.6k cars registered.

BYD sold 686 cars followed by BMW 262 EVs.

For BYD, i suspect quite a number of units could be PHV.

another conti alternative

The production version is coming in 2025 and will cost the equivalent of $27,000.

Skoda intends to launch six EVs by 2026, and the most affordable of the bunch will be this pretentiously named Epiq. It’s scheduled to go next year with a targeted starting price of €25,000, or roughly $27,000 at current exchange rates. Touted as being "small but epic," the brand's entry-level EV will be among the first models to embrace the fresh "Modern Solid" design language.

BYD is mostly Bread and butter.

If you tabulate Tesla price bracket, its only BYD Seal that can be used for the units sold.

Once Tesla Model 2 starts to sell, then it would probably be a better sold comparison numbers

For Jan + Feb 2024, BYD sold 70 Sedan while Tesla sold 144 sedan.

For 2023, BYD sold 159 Sedan while Tesla sold 390 sedan.

Most of BYD sales come from Atto3

telsa 2 by the time it's revealed and actually sold will be a long while lah. Tesla is all about hype. They can barely make a few cars, then they will already launch.
By the time 1-2 years later, barely anyone will have the car.

Look at cybertruck. launched in 2019. Car reviewers only actually had their own vehicle like end 2023 (albeit covid must have been a major factor).

other people launch is already prepare within 3-4 months, in people's driveways at least in europe or USA.
