I only bring up as an example. Then and again, if like me park a long time. I also donno. With COE going like this. If my car ten years (5 years later). I might as well give it up. Anyway, I still got car here and China to enjoy. Haha

Provided you don't want to retire.

COE price is cyclical.  Maybe 5 years later, price will be down.

By the way, put thirty hippo in your car to reduce moisture.

I am planning for 3 years, but it does not mean I don't want to work by retiring completely. I want to make sure boss will value me as partner for my value and not treat me like anyone need to push.

Tesla on self-driving mode causes eight-car pileup on San Francisco’s Bay Bridge in wild video

https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/tesla-autopilot-crash-san-francisco-b2259683.html?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR2Tf_IUwaUfNV4qpBIw7JGtvbyVRbuMlWasXUP_oMqg0sB9bFOzk-w5hYM#Echobox=1673384996

Driver claims Autopilot system caused car to brake suddenly

Dramatic new footage shows an eight-car pile-up on San Francisco’s Bay Bridge last November that the driver claims was caused by Tesla’s Autopilot driver assist system.

In the clip, obtained via public records request by The Intercept, a white Tesla Model S can be seen pulling into the far-left lane of traffic on the busy bridge and quickly braking, causing multiple cars to crash in its wake, an accident that ultimately injured nine and sent a child to the hospital.

The driver told the California Highway Patrol (CHP) that their Tesla’s “full self-driving” mode was responsible for the Thanksgiving day crash. The feature had just rolled out in beta to North American Tesla drivers that month, which Tesla hailed as “a major milestone.”

The CHP has not confirmed whether that was the case and said Tesla would possess that information.

The Independent has contacted Tesla for comment on the footage.

@DOBIEMKZ

Thanks for sharing these, do you have any article or video that says Tesla's are much cheaper to make?

Why would Tesla's be cheaper to make than other brands?

Having high gross profit per car was because they were selling at a much higher price (aka iPhone) rather than they have magical elves working and magic powder to build for cheap.

Tesla might have better cost structure than traditional ICE maker.

Tesla uses a lot of robot and giant casting machines from Idra

Talking about EV, this ID Buzz competitor has a really unique selling feature - zero front blind spot. The first in the world! Too bad it is not from a main stream car maker so most likely will not be hitting our shore.

"...With great power comes great road tax

In Malaysia, you're taxed based on how much you're pushed back in your seat when you go full throttle on your EV.

Tesla RWD: About $2.2k

i4: If edriver35, it is about the same as Tesla

Anything above 300hp will be very expensive.

$4,180 for a 400hp zero exhaust emissions EV is daylight robbery by LTA/NEA.

Ferrari Roma's 3.9L V8 twin turbo 612hp with dirtiest VES C2 emission is $3,722 per year, only.

Road tax is supposedly to tax vehicles and penalize those with high emissions, but it has become a money grabbing exercise for the LTA.
