Forget about A6... It look ugly... Sounds ugly and worse of all... Seats ugly... Only thing worth mentioning is it drives better than Bimmer and 3 stars... If you really want to compare... There are only 3 models to look at... 520 or XF or the LEXUS GS... The rest... Forget it.. Minus point... 520.. All over the road, XF... No resale value.. 1 year drop 60k... GS.. Still new and made in Japan..

Was driving a 523i F10 .. with some light tune such as k&n air filter n broquet .. easily smoke sonata taxi. The drive was very engaging : )

Recently tested Infiniti M37, XF 3.0, A6 2.0 and GS 250, 350 both lux & sport .. decided on the 350 F Sport .. just took delivery .. overtaking is a breeze n compose w/o strain .. with setting @ sport +, 99 bend was easy n u should try going over hump w/o need to slow down to a crawl .. specs very complete with navi, peddle shift, sun roof, mark levinson, adaptive suspension n a 3.5 v 6 .. very happy with the car : )

Have turbo. If want even more power have to go for the 3.0  Not going to that extreme though. Just need the car for everyday drive. ^_^

Bro only the diesel V6 is turbo, TDI. The petroleum 3.0V6 is supercharged, although the badging says "T".

The torque of the 3.0 v6 TDI is immense, no problems going from 0-150kmh when blending into highway from rest plaza in Europe, where cars travel from 130kmh to 180kmh when there are no cameras.

Diesel engines seems well suited to turbocharging as turbos spool on exhaust gases.

Premium motor makes up for the low prices thru the servicing. Basic servicing costs $800, other regular servicing cost between $1.5k to $2k.

Depend on what car u r currently driving and what u want to see in ur next car. Test drove the A 6 .. having only driven at most supercharged, the power at low torque is good .. but car is very stock (don't like the some of the finishes) and it's a front wheel drive. 520 better specs and rear wheel drive .. turbo kicks in more gradual .. seems to be a more solid car with better interior finishes .. but it's into 3 yr now with facelift coming in a yr or 2 later n there are many on the roads .. A6 was just launched last year. If u r someone who prefers a comfort ride with good specs n don't mind less power n Jap .. can consider the GS250.

With taxi out of cat A n take quota from cat E .. cat B/E will go up after "ghost month" and so will prices .. unless Europe / China down .. may want do more test drives to confirm soon !

The A6 is a facelift bro. By comparision, the 5 series is a all new model. But anyway, can't go wrong with either, just pick th engine & spec of your choice.

There is a good review on the new 5 series, after you watch it, you will want to go out & buy one (if you ar in the market for this class range), but unforunately, I can't link video as I am at work, & Youtube are ban. Maybe later.

Bro .. I am sure A6 is not facelift as I was invited for the launch last year. I am sure 5 series is not new (launched in 2010) as I just sold my 1 1/2 year old 523i (F10) which is 6 cyl .. exterior remains but changed to turbo 4 cyl engine last year with new 520 and 528 .. I must say 5 series is well built and the power delivery is good enough to give an engaging drive.

My personal take is this .. if you have not driven a 6 cyl, maybe you should try one .. going forward, the low carbon emission and fuel efficiency policy will see many cars going turbo, hybrid and fewer cyl .. so those types of cars can wait .. anyway, I suppose it would also be easier to move on from NA engine to TC : )

Going from a 1.6l NA front wheel drive to 2l TC A6 or 520 .. either will make very you happy. But I must caution you on the handling of the power increase at the start .. u would need to control the paddle esp in start stop traffic, else u may "kiss" the guy in front .. you may also find slow driving a little "jerky" and need to get used to it. 520 would be my choice between the 2 as it's a better specs car and to give rear wheel drive a try. Can also consider XF and GS for the 6 cyl .. infiniti is also having a demo sale currently.

If for 520 it advice to buy from who pi or pm?

Your answer can be found in BMW-SG forum @ http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/ or google for the website. For TC cars .. I would prefer to buy from PML for warranty and peace of mind .. Munich Auto (M cars) also supports the warranty and they are currently running a promo for extended warranty to 5 years.

audi i prefer, but their virgin paintworks SUCKS..after 1 year or so..seems so JADED..like corolla before altis....u will see. then the new audi drivers kinda of attitude not on the road, no fashion class act...so far 1 word attention seeking individuals.i like the R8 advert where u race from 1 traffic light to the next with 4 secs, even thou R8 never pass that junction. R8 /spyder sets the pace..i like..WOW...but heard more cars actually can outpace its not known only.

bmw drivers are silent car proud drivers who pride their car, system, performance...

audi wins in all, but the drivers not so respected...in my silent self....old drivers are ok, new drivers the attitude is flashy off road and...never flash me..but temperamental or period off road....haven talk ..but not much air but also not so respected..

air aviation bmw 6 series soft top coupe launched, and their monster trucks tyres series dunno 7 quite massively huge.interesting..i like

my bottomline is price...whatever is not so competitive is oversold...be it luxury...but and if...overall..they have a voice...i will sing it.

A6 is in my mind, exec car.get along real fine.deaad set on boring designs..i drop bmw..these few months owners of 740li..lousy driving.

AUDI. [wave] can buy...A4 A8..etc.. can also attend audi fashion week in taka...haha..drool...all the LG....

Please can someone translate the above for me? Little brother here am a bit retarded.... Don't understand a word....

So, what is the decision? Do not buy BMW as you can never leave out of this brand anytime. Booked 520i last week even though I wanted to get other brands. Existing also a bimmer.
