Is there a module that wind down window via your car remote so before you enter your vehicle/start your engine, you can wait at a shaded area to allow the trapped heat go out ?

My honda Ody can..must prog. Just press the unlock button till the window unwind. But quite risky once the police call me in the middle of night to inform me tht my window are not wind up.

Hold for 4 sec like that. then all 4 window will unwind. Give it a try, I heard must prog one.

 

Anyway my Ody this year 7 year old liao, so I not sure if your model has this function

Anyway, driving Civic, i tried press and hold the unlock button but it doesn't wind down. So wonder if there a module to make it works ? or perhaps go back KM and ask them to program it ?

 

To the bro who drove Odsy, does your all four windows has Power window ? Press the wind down button and it will auto wind down fully ?

Whilst I agree your sentiment generally, my car (an Alfa) comes with this very useful feature. Why useful? Well it means that as I walk across an open air car park the hot air is being blown out of the cabin before I get to the car. Some cars also have the sunroof hooked up to it as well

yes mine comes with it. u probably can add on this module in most car accessory shop

but may have to change your remote

my Octy came with stock oso! sometime i forgot wind up window after i left the car oso can remove wind up. useful!!

My VW Vento, bought in 1993 already had this feature.

VW was one of the first in the market to have intro'd it as a standard feature back then.

 

When unlocking, press remote and don't let go and all 4 windows will roll down.

Very good pre-cooling on a hot sunny afternoon ... even before you reach your car.

 

Reverse process when locking, press remote and don't let go and all 4 windows will tight shut ... in case some one had rolled down window partially.

 

So it's nothing new ... 20-year old feature for VW!

Sorry what do you mean by power window?

 

No special button, honda Ody key only has 2 button one is lock and the unlock. So I just need to press and hold the unlock button the window will wind down, once I let go the button, the window will stop winding down, so not auto down by you control how big the opening you want.

Yes, my Bimmer had it. In Singapore, it's called the "cool your car down" feature. In JB, the same feature is known as "free gift for the robbers".
