Vulcann 6th Gear June 20, 2012 Author Share June 20, 2012 He also said that at the time he had hit Miss Tan, he had been driving at only three kilometres per hour. Yep and my grandma is the present captain of Battlestar Galactica
SimonTan 2nd Gear June 20, 2012 Share June 20, 2012 (edited) I think I read the argument is the somehow the Mingwei was walking exactly at the A-pillar blind spot of the bus driver obscuring the deceased presence and the curvature of the turn the bus made somehow kept the deceased exactly in the blind spot all the while. So there is no way the bus driver can know that the deceased is right in front of the bus. Just need to hire a good lawyer and a good physics expert witness to do the maths! Thereby pushing the blame completely to the bus design and the unique road turning curvature, that inadvertently lead to the death. Last tuesday a girl walk in the middle of the road near the entrance to the service road to my carpark. i was turning right and did not see her as she was hidden by my front pillar. looked straight n right no vehicle n pedestrian as it was arnd 9 pm i just drove on n the girl appeared suddenly in front of my car. cb...she was chatting on her hp and oblivious to my car. wanted to horn her but decided not to. Some young pple can be really engrossed with their hp/ipod or whatsoever that they become a danger to others! Vid Hypersonic June 20, 2012 Share June 20, 2012 It was not proven beyond reasonable doubt that the driver was at fault. So the driver has to be given the benefit and the not guilty verdict was given.

Safety works both ways but when one party neglect his/her part...he/she may lose more than a licence. Just yesterday a cyclist dash thru a traffic light but i had anticipated his action n stopped to let him past.
