My friend left his phone at the counter of the petrol station and forgot about it..a couple of minutes later when he remembered that he left it behind, he returned to the station but the individual of the abovementioned car claimed that it was his phone and took it away just before my friend returned..the cashier lady thought this was suspicious and noted down the car plate number..

Report already..the police spent more time discussing who jurisdiction this case falls under rather than pursuing the suspect.. :( my friend was at the police station from 6.30pm to 9.30pm....

it is such a simple case and yet SPF deals it like a dumber.

i wonder are they buying time or whatsoever?

anyway, i reckon your friend's mobile phone will more or less back to his ownership.

even if not, that lady cashier can be your friend's witness. job easily done! almighty SPF! :D

Your friend must be hungry ...... if he had not taken his dinner ..... WTF .... 3 hours to make a report ???????

Case of "thief" ......... and good evidence ..... still have to determine whose jurisdiction ???? Even if the thief return the phone now, he/she should be charged for "commiting the crime"......

speaking of productivity growth huh. maybe last time they need 12 hours to make a report, then it is an improvement. [laugh]

Sorry, but I doubt the efficiency of Singapore Police Force... Basically, if u want them to work... Inform the media... Once, it publish on the paper... 100% guaranteed plus chop, they will work the 5hit out..

But now, most important is to stop the petrol kiosk's CCTV footage to be overwrite while waiting for our lousy force to take action.

It should be fast if they want to track down the owner of Chery. Just a matter of whether they wan or not. But sorry to say this... When things happened... U will know how lousy they are...

Sad to say, just another force that waste tax payer money!

I'm curious whether will they track down the chery owner.

My phone was stolen by someone I knew a few years back, made a report but they never take action. [rifle]

TS, pls advise/remind your friend to keep his/her phone with him/her all the time. We do not want some low life %^&()* to benefit from our forgetfulness/mistakes.

Btw did your friend provide the IMEI number to the police?

this stupid chery driver, how much does a phone cost at most?

worth it meh, even if the police don't take action, everyone will say this driver is a thief and look differently on him forever.
