Ultrabook quite big leh, 14 if I am not wrong, only no cd drive. Asus not bad leh 3year warrenty they gave me at IT show 2 year ago. Afforable and durable IMO

I am paranoid about IT shows, heard some of them use refurbished parts on 'new' laptops during IT show, I am just tempted to change, my Asus also serving me very well nearly 3years only change fan once
I-LOVE-CARS 1st Gear June 13, 2012 Author Share June 13, 2012 I think there are larger ultrabooks .. they have longer batter life and lighter. Otherwise, Macbook Pro. Really tempted....

You're lucky with your Asus, my Dell mb replaced during warranty and lucky I bought the 3-yr warranty on my friend's advice.
Kangadrool Supersonic June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 Get a Mac. Slightly more ex than mainstream computer. But, can install and run Windows also (if really need to). My iBook is coming to 7 year old and still going strong. Never feel the need to upgrade.

Dell sucks, never going back to dell, brought a desktop in late 05 with dell, sent back to service center 4-6 times, and the best part is every single time i have to sent it down myself, eventually gave up in 07 and got a sony vaio instead
Sp4wn Turbocharged June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 but MacBook hardly for gaming purpose. actually .. im using my 2+ yr old MBP 13" to play diablo 3 ... (i had to switch from pc to mac because i make iphone games ). now my old dell xps is my bittorent machine and i use synergy ( http://synergy-foss.org/ ) to control both laptops + 1 external monitor .. so my macbook mouse and keyboard can be used to control my dell ... its quite convenient ... now only if they allow for multi platform cut and paste! if i were you and budget is not an issue, then the retina display mbp makes sense, since it has a decent video card and an i& processor anyway. should last you another 3-4 years. Can i extend the warrenty to cover 4 years? <It will be my first MB, if i would to get it> $ should not be an issue since my budget is not exceeding SGD3500 Edited June 13, 2012 by I-LOVE-CARS

My company use Dell desktop for all equipment sold and so far only 1 or 2 system got minor problem. The Dell svc guy came over to service quite fast too. ↡ Advertisement
