My XFR has absolutely no issues at all. It is now more than 2 years old. Still under fully covered warranty where even brake pads are replaced free!

Lastest ones should be fine....just a joke,older ones[70's] always got a saying,if you buy Jaguar,you need to buy 2 of them,because 1 on the road,1 in workshop.

Nowsaday belak, VWs always in the workshop [laugh]

I thought this car is in the category of Mercedes or BMW where their price range is above $200,000 when new.

To me second hand at $140,000 is better than getting a Japanese or Korean car.

the price is about 240k when new some months back. recently they got a promo at 219k. at 4yrs old, drop from 240k to 140k is not surprising. usually the depreciation is greatest in the first two yrs. I think it is not a bad deal but I won't say it is a fantastic deal..

Agree. My XF gives me no reliability issues after more than a year. I like to drop by showroom for coffee though.

actually white is more jia lat than black.

black - the biggest issue is with shadows of water marks etc

white - you get the problem of the black as well as yellowish paintwork if you don't regularly polish the white car. and any dirt on the white car is very visible.

but if maintained, the shine is sweeee....all my ast 5 cars all white. I alwes diamondbrite. All hav commented that my car is shiny as ever...always

Hi there, I own a XFS - 3 litre Turbo Diesel for the past one and a half years - all I can say is; this is an all rounded fantastic car, reliable, performance was damp good-600 newton of torque and not that thirsty as compare to petrol car, comfortable, good handling, sporty look etc. seriously no complaints. I have own and driven 3 other Conti cars, korean and japanese cars before. I know where I stand.

With 600nm of torque, the acceleration must be very good!!

Is the road tax higher than a petrol 3000cc car? Any additional tax? Thanks

haha thats why i say white car harder to maintain with slipshod grooming.

and for me, it is more time consuming to send car for grooming than for washing. that's why i still feel white car harder to maintain than black car. black car don't polish not as bad as white car. and some grooming agents charge more for white cars!
