Micarforum 1st Gear June 10, 2012 Author Share June 10, 2012 Went for TP interview before as well. Was told that only need to to testify in court if the offence requires the guy to be charged in court. If not no need to. Also no need to go court if they decided to let him off with warning. wah, go TP lim kopi? will the accused driver know our identity? usually how long would it take? ↡ Advertisement
Renegade777 5th Gear June 10, 2012 Share June 10, 2012 (edited) Then what can we charge the Murano Driver with? It was him who forced the hiace into lane 1 what? Frankly do not think the Murano is at fault. Murano is ahead of the van right in the beginning. It filter to the middle lane and the van who is behind should slow down. Instead the van drive recklessly and speed up and "eat" into TS lane after it failed to get the pie. Worst, thereafter it sped all the way. Losing the right of way to the Murano does not mean the van has the right to drive recklessly and speed. Egoistic driver who think his van is a F1 car. Nzy Twincharged June 10, 2012 Share June 10, 2012 wah, go TP lim kopi? will the accused driver know our identity? usually how long would it take? They will not reveal our identity to the driver when taking statement. The IO assured me that they will never give our info to anyone including the person we are reporting against. However if have to go court then I don't know already. Never experience before.

Look carefully at the video. The van was ahead even in the filter lane. Then the van was also in the middle lane before the Murano. Just by looking at the Murano driving style can see that he doesn't want to be behind any slow moving vehicles or motorcycles. Look at how he overtook one of the motorcycles in the later part of the video.

Such reckless driving style will get TS or other drivers into big sheet. The van should just do some defensive driving by slowing down, instead made sudden and fast filtering which may put innocent drivers at risk.

Look at the position of the murano when the van swerved infront of TS. Its just beside the van. Not infront. IMO it is just a natural reflex that the van driver swerved rather than hit the brakes. Most people would do that also if something beside them suddenly swerves into them.
