Pump ur petrol near hougang n go st up to kpe, travel between 70-80km/hr n exit ecp. Ur fc should go up to at least 12 to 13.

I saw you replying a few times but I keep wondering why a banned person can keep posting until I see it closer...

Should just use how much you pump to get till full tank each time topping up fuel and how many KM travel. Reset the trip meter once top up full tank.

Thanks for all the replies.

I am using the trip meter for my reference on the increase in FC...

It read 9.3litre per 100km which comes up to 10.7km per litre

After pumping, the reading is 14.4litre per 100km which comes up to 6.9km per litre..

Is this correct?? or is the trip meter accurate??

First, what car you driving?

Second, any change in driving habits?

Third, any change recently? mods? change in engine oil brand? etc..

Lastly, Sometimes, the FC meter can have error, especially if the engine is runninglow speed for too long(like during servicing). It take a few trips to equalize. The best method is still to record the mileage per tank manually and calculate from there.

need reset? i never reset before. what is the purpose in resetting?

After u fill up, u must have forgotten to hold the trip button to reset it. Right?

When you down size rim, did you keep the tyre OD same as before?

Do you drive to work daily? If your route is a routine, the FC you calculated manually will be more accurate.

Do you fill petrol to the brim for all this calculations?

1st Gear

Added weight due to the petrol that you just pumped?

+1

The more you drive after full tank, the lesser the fuel will be.

Lesser fuel means lighter load and thus better FC.

Average f.C.[on the computer] always goes up once you stop at traffic lights/jams...not accurate...my car's computer said my car is 9km/L,but only get 8km/L.
