The euro situation is like feeding a drug addict with heroin shot, kept asking for handouts and bailouts.

They are so used to the benefits, welfare and do not want to bite the bullet to solve the problem at its roots.

Austerity plans are rejected.

It is just a matter of time...

the only issue here is the drug addict is one of your sons. u can cut him off but (1) he has alr owed u lots of money (2) your friends wil start to worry abt the credibility of your other 3 sons who are jus as stuck in quicksand. so at worse, your household income is affected but ok you can stil function. but at worst, your household foundation is shaken and all moneys flow to your most capable eldest brother and the inbalance threatens the foundation.

i stil thk 90% greece wil stay and the EU wil b willing to compromise slightly on the original austerity rules. its just the best of the whole lose-lose situation.

retrenchment has been ongoing since lehman. I was also given the pink slip in 2010.

i think it will only accelerate from now as the s--t is abt to hit the fan (global slump, incl china)

there's a saying that if one owes people money, he is their grandson

if he owes people huge money, they are his grandson instead

now many European creditors are Greece's grandson

I thought it is to strengthen the position of the Old Chinese Bankers Club faction within the party?
