Speed trap camera at Woodlands Ave 12???

Was back from some grocery shopping and noticed some overhanging cameras at Woodlands Ave 12 towards Senoko direction. New speed trap cameras??? See pics from my in-car recorder :

Timely action against the speeding trucks, lorries and buses. [thumbsup]

 

deterrence would have been a better form of timely action. nothing is better than a visible presence. not talking about some cameras or man+camera. am referring to real, on the road presence.

I dont know. Looks like lots of sophisticated equipment on the pole other than a camera.

warning signs are suppose to be put up to warn motorists of speed cam. This is the international protocol i guess.

 

so any warning sign? no speed cam then.

Woodlands 12 got many speeding trucks, bus, lowlee, pigkarp

last time got one diesel tanker chiong from one side of the road to the opposit side. A few trees kena mowed down. I cannot remember whether got people die or not

since they now on trials.

 

btw, i also been noticing lamp posts with no LIGHTS on top but instead have a device.

Agree. Deterrence is better than nothing.

 

I ply this road daily. The trucks, lorries or buses are either too fast or too slow.

There was once in the morning when the weather was rainy and road surface was wet. At least 3 accidents were spotted or reported between the exit to highways (SLE toward BKE and SLE toward CTE) and Gambas Avenue and all involved lorries and trucks.

 

No offence to lorry drivers or truck owners.
