No amount of surcharge can solve taxi shortgage

When they removed yellowtops cabby to monopolize the business....

When they created high rentals for cabbies....

When they profit from selling diesel to their own higher then major ADO reseller....

 

 

This created the high supply/demand issues...

taxi driving is one of the rare job where only a true SG citizen can apply to be one

 

this is part of the reason why our taxi uncle dun seem to be hungry for passengers

 

remove this requirement away and let PR drive a taxi.. watch how they KPKB

I started to see some new citizen driving taxi le. Competition is on the way.

I say raise taxi fares even more.. maybe double. Our taxis are way too cheap. But the key is the driver should get majority of the income, not taxi company. But, drop the midnight charge.

Drop all the surcharge excluding midnite. That will make taxi drivers spent more time on the road & not hiding somewhere waiting for call.

soon some taxi like Toyota Crown, Hyundai Sonanta, Hyundai I40, Mercs & etc other than Chysler will start at between of $3.50-$4..
