Ah ya, sometimes it's all about gimmicks, that's why I'm very scared on their F&B and service deals. I ever bought something for my wife and she was really unhappy after she attended the appointment. I felt really bad and I told myself I am going yo stay away for all their food and beauty deals.

 

I've bought one coupon and hopefully this one is fine. I am still looking at their Marbella N50 Groupon deal, need to do some research first

I have the N50, not bad n the price is abt $20 cheaper than current retail.

I feel fast food deals can be trusted and you get what is advertised and pay for.

 

I've also an unpleasant experience with one of Groupon deals. Bought vouchers for a steamboat dinner and the restaurant removed certain items from the menu to suit the price you paid for. Want the full menu, topup the difference. All these are not stated when purchasing. Wrote in to complain, they say will investigate and get back to me, till now still no answer. Maybe about time to poke them again.

 

I'm not the only one cheated, google king's laksa steamboat and read the reviews from hungrygowhere.

 

Anyway, a large number of their deals are not that fantastic at all. Their SD card deal is just a few cents cheaper than Sim Lim. Factor in your parking at Harborfront for the collection, you might as well drop by Sim Lim to get it.

Groupon store in HBF meh? Not in Suntec? [confused]

 

Harborfront Lobby C, 9th floot.

Just click on the deals, some of them will ask u to go down HBF to collect or pay $5 for delivery.

Groupon office has moved to Suntec rrcently.

 

I see, didn't keep track of it and in fact I stopped buying from them after my experience.

Did some research on some of their deals, most of it like F&B or healthcare stuffs, there's no actual product/services to compare with. Some could just come up with a "special" Groupon deal that already factor in all the costs.

 

For this BK burger, it should be fine, unless they use a smaller sized bun or meat, which I doubt they will and there are references to refer to.

may end up yr burger is the mini version!

 

my fren brought Carl Jr Star burger using Safra card thinking the offer was cheap for just a burger....the burger is SHRINK VERSION.

 

my fren brought a coupon online for pineapple tarts....end up is a SMALL TUB...not worth.
