ESPN news : Reports: Hulk to join Chelsea

Chelsea will acquire Brazilian international striker Hulk from Porto for a 38-million-pound transfer fee, or more than $58.5 million, according to reports in British newspapers The Guardian and The Mirror.

 

According to reports, both sides have agreed to the transfer, with only the club directors' signatures still required to complete the deal, which is still subject to a medical exam.

 

Hulk, 25, has 57 goals in 91 games over the past two seasons and has played with the Brazilian national team during exhibitions this week. He scored twice against Denmark on Saturday.

 

On Monday, 21-year-old Belgian attacking midfielder Eden Hazard revealed he would leave French side Lille to join Chelsea, though neither club officially has confirmed the transfer, reported to be worth 32 million pounds, or more than $49 million.
