hi guys,

want to relate an incident.

went to c&c to check on the latest e class. since i use a gs300, i asked the saleman for something similar in power. he said that a e300 would come closest.

i tested the car along leng kee rd at about 60km/hr. then he suggested that he takeover and he wanted to show me how powerful the car is.

in my horror, he drove it at 120-130km/hr along leng kee road just outside sm motors and then braked hard to come to a stop at the traffic light.

I prayed to god and said i never wanted to test a benz again.

Salesman driving style must be very fierce, it is driver not car. [laugh] [laugh]

E300 is equivalent to GS300 - izzit because the two numbers are the same ? [:p]

Maybe I will go to him and ask for Peugeot 5008 equivalent, can test drive XFR 5000cc !!

i wanted to test the e350 actually, but he did not have the test car.

Wah you lucky, man !!! In the E350 he might have overshot the end of Leng Kee road and end up in Margaret Drive !

Next time you go test drive at Leng Kee please give advance warning to all brothers here... so that we can avoid the area.

I test drove a car at Leng Kee recently and the SE asked me to step more on the accelerator to unleash the power of the car.

That time, the traffic was pretty heavy and I bluntly told him I dun need him to tell me what to do during a test drive.

Then at the final stretch, I ram the car a bit and commented that the refinement is not as good as my car...can see his face black black.

He suggest E300 cos both 3.0 engine capacity. 120km/h on Leng Kee is a bit reckless cos it's a small road with a couple traffic lights. Should have gone to a wider road with much lesser traffic.

The salesperson should not jeopardise the passenger and other road users at all.....driving at 130km/h in a 3 litre engine car and suddenly brake b4 a junction can prove wat ??? [hur] . in light of recent reckless driving and senseless loss of lives, should feedback to C&C to inform all its salespersonnels not to do such stunts anymore.
