Happily1986 5th Gear May 31, 2012 Share May 31, 2012 its not the moral gap but the income gap, i feel. ive literally heard people say they will sue someone because they "can" or because they have money. hell, i know someone who told me his dad was rich enough to bury someone in lawsuits .. didnt matter if he was wrong or not .. the thing ive noticed is that people with money just want to flaunt it. not just the younger gen, but the older ones as well. they want you to know they are stinkin' rich. they want you to remember that. on the other hand, i know another stinkin rich fella who is super down to earth. so maybe you're right. it could be moral decay (or more likely .. the parents ..) this guy is exponentially wealthy ... but i promise you, you would *never* be able to pick him out in a crowd. yet ... he has enough money for generations to come. it is never the money but the inclinations of the person with the money. There are accidents everyday but this is one that could have easily be avoided ..... I am hoping that you do not get involve with a "Drunken" on the road .... BabyBlade Internal Moderator June 1, 2012 Share June 1, 2012 It has nothing to do with being rich or poor ..... it is how the kids are brought up and the role model that the parents are setting for their children .... True also. Oh well.
BabyBlade Internal Moderator June 1, 2012 Share June 1, 2012 If the lexus driver was prc, i tink many will start blaming the gahmen and demand an immediate stop to any foreigners coming into s'pore. The onli good thing that has come out of this is that it gives us time to reflect that we are no angels ourselves and to take stock that xenophobia and racism has gotten to ridiculous (and embarrassing...) levels where we anyhow blame others based on their nationality or race. True that. If it really was another foreigner/PRC, the hatred for them would just peak man. But can't really fault ourselves as well. I think it's okay to dislike the uncouth foreigners, but just don't take it to a extreme level. Too many black sheep among those PRC that have made us loathe them. The glutton urge is satisfied by the foodcourst and hawkers center. But the racing urge was never satisfied locally. The promised Changi track could have allowed all these speed junkies to race their super cars in a safe and proper manner. YES.....it can indirectly be attributed back to the gov for failing to facilitate the Changi track to be built, thus forcing the owners to go out at night to race their sport cars illegally. Therefore I think the gov should quickly retender the race trac again, Edited June 1, 2012 by SimonTan

Trying to race a car on public roads is a no no considering that there are other innocent road users around or within proximity.

Therefore I think the gov should quickly retender the race trac again, some people may be looking for thrills bro. on the track, there are safety officials etc and you can be pulled off for doing something stupid (even though its a "controlled" environment). as long as TP not around, there will always be people who want to race, esp when they "zhng" their car and want to prove their mods are superior to your car etc... Trying to race a car on public roads is a no no considering that there are other innocent road users around or within proximity. unless the track can give KMs of straights like expressway, (maybe 2-3), most would still race on streets as its more straight. ↡ Advertisement
