Michelin PSS vs Conti CSC5

Time to change tyres. I have a different size tyres set up, rear 265/35/18 and front 245/40/18 and looking to change to either Michelin PSS or PS4 or Continental CSC5.

Preference:

a. Prefer stiffer side wall for a harder drive and reduced body roll (No 1).

b. Braking distance and noise - current 45k km CSC are acceptable but heard the newer ones are even better (No 2).

c. Clocking 15-20k km a year. Wear / durability is No 3 in consideration.

PSS is first choice due to stiff wide wall and improved braking distance, followed by PS4 and then CSC5 (should be better than current CSC3 but looking for a change lah).

Findings:

a. No stock in market for wider width PSS (265/35/18) from usual tire shops, any lobang to recommend? Understand 18" profile PS4S, successor to PSS, will be launched only in 2018, so new 18" PSS stock may not come at all. But they have them in MY, so I could swap them out on one of my KL trips but MY tires are a lot more expensive than in SG.

b. Relatively fast driver but still a family sedan (E250), so, not fast fast type, is PSS or PS4S an overkill? Should I save the $$$ and just buy PS4 and live with the softer side wall?

c. Any reason to consider CSC5?

Comments please and thanks in advance for sharing.
