Hi all,

I'm looking at a mini in car DVR but it doesn't come with night vision. Is this night vision meant for the screen? Does it make a big difference between one with and the other without a night vision.

Appreciate your advice/comment.

Thank you very much.

Regards,

my vote still goes to BlackVue400.

night vision is basically IR ... which means you will see in the dark - but only black and white blurry images.

if you saw some of my night recordings, you can see that the BV400 can record at night on our lighted roads and still can see the license plates - within a short distance, of course.

** pls note that youtube playback is only half as clear as the actual recorded file from the BV400.

Doesn't Blackvue has the overheating problem? Do you face any?

my operating time is short so no issues so far.

but i have also driven occasionally for longer periods and so far also still ok.

btw, i am using a class 10 32gb card.

Unless you don't travel in Tunnels or at night then it's ok but better to have this feature.

Anyway, just S$ 99 per unit (www.24hour.com.sg)

their microsoft wireless mouse front page $8? real?

just like a PC ... faster harddisk/rams = better performance.

although some ppl say class 4 is good enuff, there are those who face problems with class 4 also but problem went away after changed to class 10 cards.

aiyah ... get the class 10 lah ... so cheap nowadays.
