Happily1986 5th Gear June 21, 2013 Share June 21, 2013 Your normal so called 3G plan in SG support data carriage by HSDPA which is denoted by H+, HSDPA is a data only transmission so it does not support voice traffic. 3G supports both data and voice. Usually, 3G is used as a parking frequency for idle smartphones or tablets or dongles when there is no concurrent data transmission. Once you start to use the phone to surf however, you can see your phone shift from 3G to H+.
