May I know where to buy big ang pow to give future mother in law? Also, which is a sure bank to have new notes for exchange? Thanks..!

large bookstores have BIG angpow.. or can try chinatown. think can fit $1000 note [laugh]

 

 

some stores at the peoples park food court also sell traditional stuff and ang bao for different occasions. :D

Wah, $1000 note?! I only intend to gv $1888, think change all into $50 notes looks fatter..

btw, a piece of advice.. dont give too much. MIL may think hit jackpot, then your bridal $ and wedding costs may just shoot up. haha

Go traditional and save yourself the hassle. Wrap with red paper.

go to People's Park Complex, 2nd floor & also 3rd floor (those small shops near entrance). There are shops selling wedding items. Or can also go to the 3rd floor of People's Park Food Centre, 4 to 5 shops selling complete wedding gifts. [wave]

Just get the regular A4 size envelope spray red colour and write the traditional Chinese character "Huat" with a gold paint marker. You can put stacks of $50 notes and fill up the envelope. :D
