Just saw the video, and all I can say is life (and death) is so random, and how little control we have... and it is in times like this that I think I need to believe there is judgement after death to even out the unfairness of life...

 

On the left of the video, you can see a pedestrian who started crossing before the green man was in his favour. Had he waited for the green man, he would have been sandwiched between the ferrari and the taxi. Same thing for the motorcyclist, if he was in a hurry.

 

Curious thing wife pointed out is, the ferrari was strangely very quiet, couldnt hear it at all in the video. I suppose the driver wasnt revving, and that it was already at high speed for some distance?

 

Are there really no red light cameras at all in that area? Why isnt the ferrari driver even a little bit scared of getting caught by the TP? His father is also Li Gang?

rules are for sane people. useless if the other party is hell-bent on ending his life. If the ferrari was 0.5s later, the taxi with the cemera would have kenna. So should one wait even longer ? However careful one can be, cannot cater for such idiotic action

Dude, the red light was already "on" for a couple of seconds which means the ferrari didn't beat the red light. Rather, he blatently ignore the red light. So how is the cab driver gonna check? Wait for a minute before driving off?
