your car is lightning-proof. If a small trainer a/c can take a direct lightning hit (read, massive jolt of static charges) and still remain in flyable conditions, your car won't be harmed.

just like saying SG protected from quakes?

so got such thing as mother of all quakes or even lightning?

Wonder will NPark pay for the damages as Insurance Compnaies will says "Act of God" ..... <_<

When a vehicle skidded and knocked onto a tree, driver will pay a fine of $500/- ~ $2000/-, now what happen if a tree fall on to a parked vehicle ? [:(]

Thanks...

My question is will NPark pay for the damages incur on that 5 vehicles or URA who the owner of the car park as afterall, the vehicles paid for entries at the car park. -_-

Someone had to be responsible for maintaining the car park as cars entering, pay for the services per minutes charges.... [sweatdrop]

Time for the law to be changed.

There must be a line of responsibility and accountability.

The most tragic case was the young engineer who got crushed to death last year...

And I believed there was no compensation as well for his family and the family also stopped their claims process.

This AOG thingy really need some re-think...

You'll not be successful to claim against NParks. Need very good lawyer which will cost a lot and time consuming.

Claim your insurance (though your premium will increase following year). Most car insurance covers damages as a result of natural disasters such as flood, typhoon, hurricane, cyclone tornado, volcanic eruption, earthquake and fallen trees.

Yes, even Alibaba also cover.

But, best to check every time you renew 'cos they may remove it as standard cover anytime.

then someone got to push this through the govt.

I'm not very concerned about the car or possessions been damaged. I'm concerned when a person dies due to tree falling. It affect the entire family's livelihood
