what about if he had some mental problems

Any person who kills him/herself is a loser.

Can't face up to the challengers of life, taking the easy way and leaving the

crap behind for the family to cleanup. I have seen soldiers hang themselves

over stupid issues, break up with girlfriend, jumping down from the building,

because of girlfriend issues.

This one, Airforce, how bad can it be there.

I would call them loser, cos they lost the race. However, the mentality of a severely depressed cannot be fathomed by any ordinary person. Yes, we may say, they this that, but to them, it(suicide) is the best way out.

I have counselled many and only to give them hope and let them realise that there is always a way out. Lost a few friends this way cos they realised they had cancer, and next thing, they jumped off a building.

RIP to the soldier.

Winning the race isn't everything, completing it, is. How you finish the race is never the same way with any one person.

The mentality is the main importance and is taught since birth, to fight on of just give up. I have lost good men to cancer,

not without a fight, bro. As far as we're concerned, the they never gave up, they just didn't want to see us suffer, watching them fight.

Severely depressed? Been there, and came out living and fighting. If one puts one's mind to it, nothing is impossible, the skies is never the limit either.

Use of mental condition as a excuse, bro is lame. Just like blaming the gov. for one's present predicament is even lamer.

And watch this thread switch to gov. bashing for this NSF's death. -_-

i agree. Nothing is ever unsolvable without grit and of course, good support from friends and family. However, one can never understand what is going on through the mind of someone suicidal. Some may not even show signs of being depressed.

And yup, I'll not be surprised if this degenerates into another one of those govt/FT bashing style of threads. A lot of bitterness.

Regular of NSF, still loser bro. Death is NEVER the end all of one's troubles, it only transfers the crap

to the family to carry the burden. Suicide you get nothing form insurance also.

Some insurance got lah.....but exempt payment if you commit suicide within 1 year of purchase.

At least that's what my agent told me last time when I bought mine........ [laugh]

I have been in that situation before. Leaving my first job, stripped of all my weapons, and from my team.

Was in depression for 2yrs +, suicidal thought did come to mind, I shook it off, as I realized that in doing

such a stupid selfish act, I leave all the pain and suffering to my wife and then, eldest son who was very young.

I didn't have the privilege of having parents like everyone else. Wife spoke to me, saying that I've already

been thru so much in life, what is this to me. That woke me up from my trance, and I've never stop fighting

since. I will never be a loser, nor will my children.

And also, a whiner we will never be.

We will see, degenerate to gov bashing, and those people will be facing limited edition card issues.

Bring it on. <_<
