I really enjoyed the movie and I planning to catch it again...lol

 

I felt that the last of the trilogy did not slack in terms of plotlines, story, effects and acting performance. I felt the story ending vey well with a closure that is open ended and thought provoking.

 

Some felt TDK is better than DKR but I felt both movies have their strong points and are equally on par.

 

Although among the villains, no one can beat the Joker due to Heather's outstanding performance, but the villains in DKR potrait a different impact and influence to Batman and the people of Gotham, which is not nessessarily lousier than the Joker.

 

Joker = Twisted insanity

Bane and gang = Bleakness and despair.

 

 

In terms of Bruce Wayne, the Bruce in DKR are throw to more self-doubt, personal struggles with himself and the people around him.

Somehow during the scene when Gotham falls and the chaos that ensure sort of bring deep thoughts into me and I start to imagine if that ever happen to Singapore when suddenly the Goverment disappear and how would the citizens and people react? Probably 100 times worst?

Very Smart of Nolan not to name the young man Dick Grayson or Jason Todd....for obvious reasons.

Is Dark Knight Rises better than Avenger and Amazing SPiderman? To me, hell yeah! Amazing Spidey was good but not there yet, Avengers is a 2hour toy commercial and don't even come close.

 

But each of his own.

The movie was very French Revolution with the rich-poor divide. Breaking the prison was like storming the Bastile and IIRC, the French also had a kelong court.

 

I thought Gordon was very siasuay. After so many years, he needed to be told Batman's identity while rookie cop guessed it in 10 mins

Easily one of the best shows of the year..loved the scene where Wayne finally settled down with Selina..both got their fresh start.

 

But a few points dont understand..so pwerful bomb explode..no tsunamis? Batman not caught in tidal wave? Why all the trapped policemen not killed but left alive with food and water?

 

Hope the Justice League comes true and brings out this whole cast again.
