M1 SIM only price is already cheaper than that even if you really use all 12 GB.

mostly slower compare to Korea, Japan even HK and Taiwan

even when i got a 4G Hotlink prepaid in KL seems faster

Which is why I am not attracted to change to 4G plans.

More expensive, less data size, speeds are almost like 3G and coverage not extensive in some places.

Remember reading from hwz few nights ago that some M1 users have their 12GB 3G lines upgraded to 4G FOC! M1 customer service reported to say this upgrading is in progress for all its 3G 12GB lines.

 

Not sure Singtel will follow suit though soon, haha.

yes according to hwz.

 

Similar to Singtel, M1 also uses 4G VAS approach.

 

I am still holding on to a Singtel 12GB 3G plan that is < $30. Lets see if have a happy ending, haha.

On the Singtel 12GB plan,  do check out the cost of the GBs after exceeding the 12GB.  Some folks will be pleasantly surprised !

I agree. Many of my friends are like you hanging on to this old good plan. They would usually buy a mobile phone withoutnplan cos they love thisnplan like yourself.
