My company is not replacing headcount for employees resigned.

Depends on what position la, i believe some position still need to replace. But seems like job market forecast doesnt seem good for the next few months. Better stay put on the current job, cause even got axed still can get some money.

But there are jobs around. There is a bar/cafe at Capital Tower at Tanjong Pagar that is finding it impossible to get local staff as MOM dictates quotas. Even when offering to pay $20/hr, noone is interested. The owner has a perpetual struggle to get anyone locally to work for him.

You sure $20/hr? If work 8 hours per day, your pay is $160 and if work for 5 days, 1 month can earn up to $3K le, how come no takers?
