To be honest, I've not found a car to be this desirable for long time......

 

I hope there's an AMG version (even though I'll never be able to afford it).

 

I hope the price foran entry level is reasonable, at least....

i find the CLS based on the E class underpinnings more desirable and i am certain that the E class chassis certainly has alot more potential than its A class counterpart.

many of todays Mercedes designs seem to take their cue from the CLS which was launched as far back as 8 -9 yrs ago.

 

this one takes the cake....swee swee swee.

 

but then concept car so expected to be extra swee.

 

you mean into production already, i very outdated never follow on such developments.

of course, becos hyundai started copying Mercy way back. and they did a good job.

 

the i45 has very similar lines to the CLS as well.

hyundai designs are fabulous

You bull lar you, cannot afford? Since it shares many parts with the new A-class (possibly even the platform? I think I heard that mentioned), it should be 'affordable', in Singapore's context.

 

This car is pretty much guaranteed going to production. Considering it's not some ultra-rare one offs and the amount of interest generated, this will probably be one of their best selling models when it goes production.

 

Yeah, the concept cue is still from the original CLS. But the old CLS is still a damn beauty, still extremely relevant by today's standard. Pretty much a timeless design? Like a Testarossa or a Countach.....

Yeah, it's a lot more aggressive. Guess it's targeting a much younger audience with it's (should be) lower entry price, smaller size and more aggressive styling.

 

And maybe this is closer to the AMG version that the normal version.
