Feedback for OBDtuning

Evening all bro and sis,

 

Just like to check hows the feedback after tuned by OBDtuning? Cause i've tried unichip, obit2 and obdtuning. I can say that after obdtuning, there's no different in terms of performance compare from stock unlike unichip and obit2. From the way how he tuned, he simply plug a device to copy out the file and tell me to wait for 30mins to send the file to US or Australia side to re-tune the map and load the re-tune map to my ECU via obd port. According to some tuner, it seems impossible to tune using OBD port cause it can only read instead read or write.

This the result after he tune my car. Dave from OBDtuning is really a cheater. I've sent him an email to ask for refund if there's no answer from him i will raise this issue to CASE.

Honda Fit is a N/A. engine,bhp should not raise alot,for my Nissan,only better by 2 bhp.

Now i give him one week to respond my email. If not i wont hesitate to refer to CASE. Cant stand such cheater around

OBD feedback can be found in many many car forums ranging from korean to japanese to conti and yet you did not pick up the trail? i guess nothing much you can do and treat it as tuition fees.

Your Stream is not turbocharged engine, so cannot up boost. Where on earth to get extra bhp. In order for you to feel the difference, you need 20bhp difference at least.

 

If NA car so easy to get extra 20bhp just like that, then those engineer in Honda R&D factory where to hide their face? Surely they have max out the potential based on the hardware used.

 

If you change the hardware, then there is room to improve.

this obd guy claimed +18bhp for the 159 (stock 185bhp)

 

i think it costs about 1k. I still get sms at times abt any promo. In the alfa forum, many asked for before and after dyno test... after taht.. no sound no pic from him liao.

I posted my dyno chart and comments he went to deactivate his facebook account. Anyway I've raise this issue to CASE to handle.

Seeing from your chart, it's 'flywheel' calculation, it's Not Wheels calculation

 

Pls alow me to explain, most (95%) of tuners everywhere would love to quote 'Flywheel' instead of Wheels HP via ADDING in Correction Factor, e.g. 1:1.25 or 1:1.35 instead of the CORRECT measurement of 1:1. When Tuners quote 'flywheel', they are actually Inflating HP/Torque figures by 25%-35% over the actual amount.

 

In order to have an accurate benchmark, make sure before any tuning, have ride Dyno & tell tuner you want WHP (Wheel HorsePower) without Correction factor= 1:1 ratio & make sure you're there to see the dyno & get him to do a print out for you. Then when he's done 'tuning' your ride, make sure you insist on another Dyno & also make sure it's WHP without correction factor - if you do this, then you'll have Crystal pic on where you ride was & where it is after tuning & you can compare & contrast the power gains + how it is gained like fm which RPM & s forth.

 

What i've mentioned abv is The Most Common muck up tuners have in their arsernal to hook wink clients. let me give you 2 example:-

 

(1) 1 Honda EG6 (fully strip out) was supposed to be pumping out 380HP versus a ST Powered FD2R with only 285Hp. They ran Full 40 Tiang & the EG6 lost by abt 3 lamp posts! Mind you, the distance between each lamp post @40 tiang is damn far! EG6 buggar not happy & asked for multiples runs & kept embarassing himself.

 

(2) 2 super Godzira fm MB Motors GTR & ST Powered GTR with very similar hardwares ran recently, MB's GTR was rumored to pack in excess of 1100+hp but ST powered GTR ONLY Pack 1000+hp & they both ran 20 tiang, at the 20th tiang, ST's GTR was 3 & half tiang ahead of MB's GTR.

 

If you ask any seasoned guys at 40' tiang, loosing by 1 lamp post equates a deficit of min 50-80HP depending on rides (models/ weight & so forth).

 

In the above example No.1, bet many can 'excuse' EG6 driver of not knowing how to launch or change gear? Then what abt the 2 GTR's? It's a FOOL Proof car leh.

I saw his advertisement everywhere online! And also many many complaints about their cars power stillthe same after paying thousands.

I am not sure about increase in power, but surely there is a difference felt after he "tuned".

so many ppl compliant about his re map.... my forum got few go to him and say he is dam good but actually they suffer in silent cause pai say to say out cause say laio loose face still say ya ya very good balls la.

I was looking for better acceleration, the tuning did get there.

 

Money is no issue, there are many ways to ketok $$.
