Hi SGP1965G, thank you for the reference. Raymondism gave me a link which led me to consider that same stall which I mentioned in Post No. 115.

Have you tried the stall and can you share your views?

Have a nice day! [wave]

Can provide the stall number or name for the one at Telok Ayer(Amoy Street) Food Centre???

I believe it should be the one on the second level, behind the famous lor mee stall, staircase up,

past lor mee stall on the right, next row, first corner stall on your right. (Street view on your left)

Bros, It is the corner stall at level 1 2nd last row facing opposite a coffee stall. I don't have the name nor stall no. but you cannot possibly miss the stall. Don't ask for too pedas because it's be too salty. The fried rice is also worth trying.

Please share your views if you have the chance to try it.

Cheers! and have a great weekend! [sunny]

Noted regarding feedback and will do so when due. For now, MCF is enough to keep my free time busy lah. :D

Perhaps, after I have gathered enough info from here and my hunt to allocate sufficient time for a worthy feedback, I'll do just that.

Cheers! and have a great weekend and Happy Vesak Day! [sunny]

other than lormee..wat else is good there?

Talking about lormee (which is one of my favorite local food), good ones are still available unlike mee goreng which is fairly difficult to get these days because of the ingredients and different cooking methods. An extremely good lormee I had was a couple of decades ago in Surabaya. [thumbsup]

The lor mee at Amoy is good to go. 2nd level, Sunday mornings best time.

At Bedok Corner, there are a few stalls. Where's the particular stall you recommend? Nearer to the corner? Your super sedap is tempting! [laugh]

Bedok Corner only got 2 Indian stalls - one selling mutton soup only, the other your typical Indian Muslim stall. The latter sells very nice mee goreng.

I'm not a food specialist, but I love mee goreng, and I feel the nice ones should have the right combination of spicy and sweet - the spice from the chili, the sweetness from the soy sauce.

For a mee goreng to taste nice, it should have some "charred quality" to it. A generous amount of minced meat is also good as it absorbs the spice well and adds to the taste and texture of the mee goreng.

And it's my personal opinion but I don't care if food is unhealthy as long as it tastes GOOOOOOOD and leaves you happy! LOL

Bro, not sure if it's open on Sunday. Perhaps because there's a church opposite the hawker centre. Hope you got the opportunity and provide your views thereafter.

Cheers! [sunny]

Ok. I think I know which one. Thanks for confirming. I'll try it when I go there next time for my juhu eng cai.(Ah Boy stall). The wantan mee 2 stalls away are also good by today's standard. Please excuse me if you don't happen to take non muslim food. [:)]

Cheers! [sunny]
