Now the Go Keyboard comes with this embedded ads. I saw many writeup on rooting the Android, what is the purpose? Is rooted the same as jailbreak Iphone?

Anyway to removes these ads without rooting the Galaxy Notes with AdFree Android?

I found the link for 1.4.1, but do I overwrite the v1.5 gokeyboard.apk with v1.4.1? but can't find the v1.5 gokeyboard.apk in the Gokeyboard directory???

Huh?? Mine don't have such stuff, even my wife's phone also do not have this ads.

If yours is v1.5, go the settings or Go Market menu, you will see the ads. See the pic above.

v1.5 is bad for my galaxy s2. all my haptic inputs were not translated into text. epic lag didn't help the absymal experience as well.

back to 1.4.1 and normalcy as well as sanity were restored.

errmm... I know what is haptic feedback, but what is haptic input?

Have this bad feelings that GO Dev will gradually include ads to all the other GO products.

i type many many but text area kolongsong.

ads are inevitable. business models adopted are either freemium i.e. free but crippleware with paid access granting full access or adverts defraying costs. everything totally accessible but ads in your face. so long as the ads are not obtrusive, it let the devs earn their upkeep. how often you go into go kb settings anyway?

Nope, mine is V1.5, but no ads. Maybe cause mine is root version S2 with Checkrom [:p] Everything works perfectly.

I also notice that the dictionary doesn't store user defined words.
