How to remove dried paint on dashboard?

Anyone know how to remove dried paint away from the dashboard (be it rubber or plastic) safely?

WD40 or equilivilant spray on then rub with cloth

Nothing works like a bottle of thinner. Apply thinner on cloth and rub it on the paint.

Dont think so if u do it quickly. And dont pour the thinner directly on the dashboard.

Question is: why did you manage to get paint onto the dashboard?

Should be kerosene

 

Thinner should be too strong

 

May leave a Matt surface if lacquer comes off

 

 

Key point is always put a bit on a clean cloth n test on small surface 1st

Kerosene??? Have not tried that. Its either turpentine or thinner. Turpentine is milder but needs lots of rubbing before paint come off. Thinner, much faster.

u test the thinner first on a small area that's not too prominent la. if it fogs up then forget it. might be better off trying to scrape the paint off GENTLY. maybe rub with eraser

Actually, those dish washing scrub (3m green color scrub) is pretty good at scrubbing off dry paint.

 

Might want to try with some water.

 

At least better than solvents.

turpentine can be use to remove the paint on ur dashboard. but there is still a high chance u may matt ur dash board as u need a few good wipe before u can soften the paint and remove it.
