If you are unsure, please don't suggest. Gearbox are sensitive and expensive.

I think you also belong to the "unsure" category cos otherwise you won't be asking this. So I strongly recommend you go option 1 or similar. Because then there will be no questions asked. You just pay. And because gearboxes are sensitive and expensive.

Turbocharged

just go to rictat and buy 1 tin of Type IV (about S$40).

Find a ws and pay labour S$30-$40 to drain and refill the ATF.

Since you already mention gear box is sensitive and expensive...

my suggestion..go back to BM..any problem at least you have black and white that you change ur ATF from their workshop..

anything happen..touch wood..they will still warrant it..

if u want cheap..does not mean it good

if u want good..dose not mean it cheap..

if he really scare..he can buy 10 tins of oil ..keep draining and draining the gearbox until

the oil that flow out from the gearbox is purely Type IV..

Next then pour in the last tin of type IV..

Well..this is what I did when i service our factory machine gearbox..drain with the oil that I want to fill..

until the oil that flow out is purely clean and no more dirt

of course i am unsure if not i won't even start this thread.

unsure can always find out.

i just want to know what kind of oil i should go for and can go for. that's all.

because i encounter honda jazz cvt issue with my friend, and came accross Japan made HMMF and Thai made HMMF. so was wondering any similarity to Toyota in this aspect.

i will nv go for option 1 because i don't trust borneo motor.

if mine's a honda and it's from kah motor, i won't give a second thought, but not to borneo motos.

i have cheap and good,

BM is not cheap and not good.

i ever used black and white to slap them, they still refuse to warrant my a/c compressor, so no go for them.
