Kelpie 2nd Gear April 14, 2012 Share April 14, 2012 Hi all, What exactly are the differences between KU31 and KH31? Which is better in term of value for money given that both are about the same price. Please comment and Thank you very much. Othello Supersonic April 16, 2012 Share April 16, 2012 I'm also considering the KH31. From what I read, the KH series more comfort biased whereas the KU more sporty. I've actually spoken to a guy who changed to KH31 and is very pleased with it. Says it's very quiet which is what I want. The only factor against KH31 - it's M.I.C. Kelpie 2nd Gear April 16, 2012 Author Share April 16, 2012 Which shop carry KH31? Can try www.tyrepac.com.sg , they even have prices online. 1 piece for S$100 (16"), exclude GST. Fitting charges depend on installer. But the stock is 2010. I already ordered KH31 to try out. Regards,

Tyrepac.com mentioned, either Vietnam, Korea or Made in Asia. Not so important to me as I've used MIC tyres before. KH31 has impressive review from German Auto Bild hence my choice. KH31 has impressive review from German Auto Bild hence my choice. Regards, Same here. I tried out a pair of HK31s from Tyrepac after reading many good reviews on it. The reason why I had only bought a pair is becos i have no faith in MIC tyres and just want to try it out first. So far i've been using it for almost 6 months and I can say the wet weather performance is much better than my previous Falken ZE912, esp when travelling on wet and smooth metal surface. Kelpie 2nd Gear April 16, 2012 Author Share April 16, 2012 I don't think one can go very wrong with Goodyear F1 Directional 5. Similarly, can't go too wrong with KUMHO or HANKOOK despite of low price tag. Regards,

Darkblue 1st Gear April 17, 2012 Share April 17, 2012 5 different brands... Back to Kumho KU31, although UHP tires, strangely enough... its pretty quiet. Extremely value for money...
Tigershark1976 Turbocharged April 17, 2012 Share April 17, 2012 Using KU 31 now... ist not really that noisy, and the sidewall is not too hard... i would say comfort level is quite okie for me. Performance wise, i have never came across any other tyre that out perform KU31 at the same or lower price...
Hamburger Hypersonic April 17, 2012 Share April 17, 2012 since on budget tyres..... do give champiro GT HPY a thought. If MIC made is scary, then IDN is even more frightening.....but i assure you this GT is good enough ↡ Advertisement
