the incident was in 2009..he has been driving it since..

hmmm..

yes i do intent to drive all the way till scrap, another 5years..

Make sure you get honest answers by checking the repair reports, and in every other way you can. If you need a mechanics help, pay for it. You should never buy a car that you feel is being misrepresented. If it does not fit into your budget, ask if the price is negotiable. It should be. Its a used vehicle after all.

repair chassis sounds abit serious tho.

perhaps u cud check with yr regular mech on this for an opinion too.

 

My first car was involved in accident and chassis was bent, no matter how good the repair is, the car is not straight, in the long term, at normal speed over long distance, steering misaligned, and tyres wore out more on one side.

 

At high speed in Malaysia above 120, car vibrate like s--t, and no matter how good balancing is, it is useless as its the body, not the tyres. Also affected suspensions and absorbers long term. So don't buy bad chassis car!
