Help needed for insurance matters

Briefly, got a friend whose insurance for his car got expired and the insurance company does not want to renew his insurance for his car cos he is prone to accident. No insurance cannot pay road tax and so cannot drive the car. Any MCF brothers have any suggestions to share to get the car insured. Thank you in advance..

Sorry for adding my query here but I have a similar problem. Trying to get a insurance quotation with a particular insurance company, and they declined to insure me because the drivers (myself and dad) have clocked a number of accident reports in the past few years, of which most are not even on the car we are insuring (dad is a bus driver).

 

However we were not at fault in any of the cases and we have never claimed on our own vehicle insurance before. Is this the usual practice?

 

Am new to this forum. any constructive comments are welcome.

There will definitely have other insurance co willing to insured, but the premium will definitely be higher since you're " marked"

 

My opinion is...... Pay more for the premium. As simple as that. :-)
