Mitsubishi Lancer

Nissan Sunny

Toyota Altis

Toyota Vios

Lancer- value for money , simple runabout, simple and cheap maintainence, reasonably attractive outlook

Sunny- fuel guzzler , cheap, refined for it's price range.

This or any other forums is unlikely to provide accurate picture of the most or less common cars in Singapore since most drivers and/or owners may not even participate is such forums.

The more accurate statistics you can get would likely to be from LTA who has all the information in their data.

Further, you have not even included the Korean cars which is apparently becoming more popular today.

the most common cars can be derived by the one that sold the most in a single year...eg. altis in 2006, lancer 2007, altis again in 2008, avante in 2009 etc...

even with the world most expensive car prices.BMW and MERCEDES and taken over as the common bread and butter cars in singapore.this is uniquely singapore.

A few weeks ago, while I was waiting for the lights to turn green, I counted 5 Altises around me !!

 

(NB. I was not parked inside Borneo workshop !!!! [laugh] )

yes you are right i guess...more than 50,000 were sold since the first one arrived in 2003...

 

btw im referring to Corolla Altis and not Corolla...
