then AGO will come knock knock and ask, did all ministry make full use of their entitlements? [laugh]

difficult lah - end of the day fengshui master will look like bamboo poles, kena squeezed until dry dry [laugh]

u know, i realised the mgt tends to be defensive, meaning not proactive mgt. Which is wrong. I believe a full scale pre-empt risk assessment and mgt of the aforesaid should be carried out.

not only gahmen, most pte Cos, tend to do that. they do sth only when s--t hits the fan..and that is sooo wrong

i wonder hor at ministerial meetings they apply De Bono's 7 hats anot [laugh] [laugh]

probably is a matter of how much is enough. they will argue that they have stretch their means to work out all possibilities and put measures in place to prevent such incidents. but human factor is the tricky part that no one can predict.

that is the time-consuming job that treads a fine line between imposing authority and being sympathetic to individuals.

maybe they should work with their auditors and pinpoint any guidelines that can help work on this department.

then all those standing one how? maybe it is time to consider those computer driven buses with sensors all round. since these are programmable and less prone to human factors like too much late night footballs, drinking sessions, blah blah blah

One of t he pics from stomp suggests the bus is entering the main road from a slip road. The skid marks were almost perpendicular to the main roads. Possible that the bus captain misjudge the speed or turn or possibly step on the gass peddle instead of the brakes.

Anyway RIP to the deceased.

Must be speeding I guess. Today road is dry so can't be skidding.

Next standard question, driver local or FT?

Speeding perhaps but still possible to mount kerb at moderate speed and end up liddat or not?

RIP to the deceased [:(]

With these kind of tyre skidded marks shown [shakehead] , I guess the bus hydraulic Braking System Failed suddenly at the turning point out into major road, and it's completely out of control like a run loose train crashing into the opposite side of the main road.

Blessing in disguise that there are no other vehicle caught in this bus deadly crashing path.

RIP To The Unfortunate Bus Passenger [smallcry]
