The rear especially. Front of Lexus' lineup now look all the same. And it's not exactly a new look, when it's been on the CT200h for a few years already.

 

Interior looks a little like going back to the 80's interior design, especially the rectangular elongated air-con vents.....

There was always a ES lexus just that the AD did not bring in the last model to singapore. The reason is that it is too similar to the Camry.

No. They didn't bring in the last ES because Lexus didn't make RHD for the last model.

 

This time round, they may consider making RHD again.

 

The last model had ES240 (same as Camry 2.4L) sold in China, followed by ES270 (Same engine as RX270), and the ES350.

 

This current model will have ES250 (4-cyl same as Camry 2.5L), ES300h (2.5V6 Hybrid), and ES350 (Same engine as GS350).

You are there was no rhd fot the previous es

Finally ES is back again in SG. BM is now accepting pre-booking for ES250 and ES Hybrid. 1st shipment around Q4. [rolleyes]

Lexus biggest market is in US. Easily selling few hundred thousands unit per year.

Look at Audi A3. Is it similar do some model?

Lexus has the highest reliability rating by JD Power.

No. I just came back from US. There are so many Japanese models on the road. Just a Camry alone. One month sale figure is nearly 35,000 units per month. In Singapore., 1 year number of COE issued only less than 30,000 pieces.

Should be at least $225K...sure more expensive than the Honda Accord..
